Welcome to 20th Annual Conference & Exhibition of the SLA - AGC

On behalf of the Special Libraries Association (Arabian Gulf Chapter), it is our honor and pleasure to invite you to the 20th Annual conference “Enhancing in Digital Knowledge Society’s Information Needs” in Doha, Qatar from 25th - 27th March 2014. We hope that this conference will be highly productive and prove to be a landmark in the identification and analysis of digital information needs. It will bring together librarians, researchers and educators from around the world who are engaged in the fields of knowledge acquisition, organization, and dissemination.

The conference program will include a variety of topics related to the issues of digital information needs in today’s knowledge-based economy. There will be presentations by speakers from Arab countries and overseas. Papers will be presented in the form of plenary sessions, symposia and posters. The Papers have been carefully selected by the Paper Review Committee.

We hope that you will enjoy every moment of the conference and have many opportunities to interact with one another and share and exchange creative ideas with your colleagues. We are looking forward to welcome you to our beloved country Qatar. The Organizing Committee has been working tirelessly to make the conference a grand success.
